The Nompumelelo Skills Development Institute is a purpose-driven Non-Profit entity existing solely for the purpose of community upliftment through the economic emancipation of youth and post-youth individuals in the underprivileged area of Nompumelelo, Beacon Bay in East London, South Africa.

The programme is facilitated by a team of dedicated facilitators and artisans who are all masters of their crafts. This team of facilitators, each possessing great expertise and experience in these crafts works hand-in-hand with a close-knit Comittee made up of an Operations Board and a Board of Directors.

Vision


The eradication of poverty, substance abuse and idleness in our community and the upliftment and ennoblement of our young people into responsible, ethical and godly members of their families and our community large.

Mission


To upskill and train our unemployed youth to get up and do it themselves through various skills and crafts with which they can serve our community and simultaneously receive financial emancipation to actively grow our economy and to evade the prison of poverty.

Objectives


1. To upskill and train our unemployed youth to get up and do it themselves through various skills and crafts with which they can serve our community.

2. Offer a sustainable service of training and soft skill transfer to offer an enduring service which will be limitless in growth opportunities.

3. Procure and acquire resources that will enable the entity to better rend its services and meet its objectives.

4. Work with relevant like-minded donors, stakeholders, personnel and partners in order to more effectively meet our objectives.

5. Acquire accreditation status and offer the Artisan and Soft Skills with the recognised accreditation status.
